1 sprinkle | Salt |
1 piece | Steak, rump, scotch, porterhouse, sirloin (Main) |
Directions
- Take your steak out of the fridge about 2 hours before you are planning to cook it. Choose a good pan to cook your steak. Sprinkle well with salt. Heat until the salt starts to smoke.
- Carefully lay the fat in the pan and sear until browned and the fat renders.
- Lay one side of the steak to cook to your liking. Turn and cook the other side. Only turn your steak once. When cooked to your liking remove from pan and let rest on a warmed plate for 5 minutes to let the juices settle. Serve with chips and salad, or veges.
