I love Beef Wellington, but my children are not that keen on the mushroom duxelle or the pate....so I came up with a kiwi version..add spinach instead. ( you could use anything..or nothing) photo is not of my beef gumboot..but gives you an idea
Ingredients
1 block | Flaky puff pastry |
1 fillet | Beef (Main) |
1 packet | Spinach |
Directions
- Preheat oven 180 roll out pastry put spinach in chopper spread on to pastry place beef on top ( brush on a jelly eg guava if that is desired) fold in to a parcel
- oven bake, to desired taste ( med) etc
