This is a decadent and luxurious way to start the meal - serve it up with crostinis, crackers or fresh bread.
Ingredients
1 whole | Camembert, about 250g (Main) |
6 small | Garlic cloves |
6 sprigs | Fresh thyme |
½ tsp | Smoked paprika |
½ cup | Chardonnay |
1 loaf | Crusty bread |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 200C.
- Place the cheese in a snug-fitting ovenproof dish.
- Make six incisions in the cheese then push in the garlic and thyme.
- Pour over the wine then sprinkle on the paprika and bake for 15 minutes. Serve with bread.
