Ingredients
1 | Trout (Main) |
1 to taste | Salt & freshly ground pepper |
1 | Onion, chopped |
1 pinch | Sage |
1 pinch | Thyme |
1 | Canned pineapple pieces |
1 to serve | Bacon rasher |
Directions
- Clean and scale the trout removing the head and tail.
- Sprinkle cavity with the sage, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Fill the cavity with pineapple pieces.
- Wrap the fish in bacon and form a parcel with greased tinfoil.
- Preheat the oven to 170 degC and bake for approximately one hour.
- Remove foil and serve.
