Dinner can sometimes cast a shadow over the whole afternoon when no one can decide what they feel like eating. I have created this super simple menu which anyone can achieve — even the kids, so that you can gather your clan in the kitchen to cook.
The ingredients are easy to find and the instructions are clear enough for kids to cope with and feel empowered for success. Cooking together can be a wonderful way to stimulate conversations and to develop relationships between family members. Get everyone in the kitchen and hand out the tasks that allow you to pull the meal together as a family.
There is something in here for everyone, from the decadent flavours of the bruschetta topping, to the child-friendly chicken and rice, to the healthy raw salad. The dessert is rich and scrumptious and it is served in small individual dishes or glasses for a mini, luscious treat for all.
