Every Monday, Peter Gordon gives the readers of Bite magazine his expert answers to food-related questions they've submitted to the Ask Peter column. The master of fusion cuisine, he has several award-winning eateries, including the tapas restaurant Bellota in Auckland, The Sugar Club on level 53 of the city's Sky Tower and London's The Providores and Tapa Room. He is also co-founder of London's gourmet artisan doughnut company Crosstown.
Peter has authored nine cookbooks and contributed to many more.
He is a passionate supporter of a number of charities. After donating bone marrow to his sister in 1995, he established the annual British ”Who’s Cooking Dinner” event, which has raised almost £7 million for leukaemia research. He also founded "Dining for a Difference" which has raised over $1.3 million for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand. In 2009 he was awarded an Order of Merit for services to the food industry.
Peter is also consultant chef for Air New Zealand, designing its Business Class menus.
