In-season New Zealand limes are finally here and we are making the most of every drop of juice and hint of zest.
All summer long we wish we had plentiful limes to add to iced water, cocktails, barbecued chicken, salads and yet they are out of reach (or at least prohibitively expensive). Then, finally, the weather cools and fresh, zesty, bountiful limes appear ripe on trees all over New Zealand.
Lime season is a cause for celebration so we are celebrating in the best way (and the only way we know how), with food.
