Al Brown is a chef, TV presenter, writer, fisherman and restaurateur. His restaurant, Auckland's Depot, became a crowd favourite the moment it opened in 2011, followed by Federal Delicatessen in 2013.
He also established Logan Brown - an award-winning fine dining restaurant that has been a favourite to many Wellingtonians. Familiar to TV viewers from his Hunger for the Wild culinary adventures,
Al enjoys fishing, eating just about anything and believes that more time should be spent pleasing the palate than garnishing to please the eye. He encourages us to eat, and not take ourselves too seriously in the kitchen.
