A business networking group has been set up in Rotorua to inspire and improve the skills of young managers in the city.
The group, known as Boost, is a branch of the Rotorua Chamber of Commerce.
Membership will be open to people under 38 - the World Health Organisation's definition of a young manager - and will provide support, guidance, mentoring and training opportunities.
Boost chairman Jeremy Mihaka-Dyer said it intended to attract those with a desire to develop their careers and to support other like-minded young managers with their career and professional development.
"We wanted to provide advice and a youth voice to key business organisations within the Rotorua district," he said.
"Boost meetings will also be a great opportunity to network with like-minded people. We hope to strike a balance between formal meetings and fun."
