Wrightson has appointed three Williams & Kettle-nominated directors to its board,
Wrightson said today in a statement John Bayly, Sir Selwyn Cushing and Gerald Weenink, have been appointed as independent directors.
Mr Bayly is the current W&K chairman, while Sir Selwyn is deputy chairman, and Mr Weenink was W&K's chief executive until 2003.
Wrightson agreed to the appointment as part of its $4.70 a share takeover offer for W&K.
Wrightson gained a 93.7 per cent stake in Williams & Kettle through a $4.70 a share takeover offer that closed on Friday. Under the Takeovers Code, Wrightson can now move to compulsorily acquire the remaining W&K shares.
