Vodafone is shifting from Auckland's CBD to Smales Farm on the North Shore.
The business has just announced that it will move 1800 Auckland-based employees to one site where $200 million will be invested by the telco and Smales Farm on a 10.8ha site.
The Herald tipped the move last month.
A statement from the business just released said the new national headquarters would "incorporate state of the art design and technology. Solar panels and air conditioning systems will deliver energy efficiency and environmental sustainability."
