NZX listed Goodman Property Trust has told the stock market that Vodafone will not be renewing its current lease at its Viaduct headquarters.
"Goodman has advised that it has received notification from Vodafone that it will not be renewing its lease of the Vodafone Building when it expires in April 2017," yesterday's statement said.
Andrea Brady, Vodafone New Zealand's head of external communications, said: "All options and alternatives are being investigated but no decision has been made."
It is understood that one option may be for Vodafone to take a new lease of its existing Viaduct premises.
• An earlier version of this story said Vodafone had signed a new lease and was moving to Smales Farm. It also said that staff were told of a planned move last week and that Goodman Property had announced the move to the NZX. Vodafone has advised that these statements were incorrect. We apologise for any factual errors in the story, and for any inconvenience that this caused Vodafone or its staff.
