An assortment of business representatives from Vietnam are using the visit to New Zealand to sign the Trans Pacific Partnership as an opportunity to explore trade opportunities.
A number of business and trade directors from Vietnam are holding a trade networking opportunity in Auckland this morning, ending with the signing of cooperation arrangements and a memorandum of understanding.
A programme for the event says Trade Minister Todd McClay is the "guest of honour" at the event.
Alister Lawrence, chairman of the New Zealand Association of South East Asian Nations Business Council (ANZBC), will also be present.
