Panztel - the Tauranga technology company with a phone-based timekeeping service called eziTracker - has won high-profile customers who will collectively add more than $1.5 million in annual turnover during the next 12 months.
Five British local authorities have agreed to use the eziTracker service to monitor the activities of employees in areas such as care giving, office cleaning, roadside facilities maintenance and building maintenance. The councils have more than 50,000 employees or contractors in these areas.
Sunderland City Council is using the service within its home-care operation as part of a contract worth $350,000 a year.
Panztel is also negotiating with nine other councils.
Sodexho UK, a company whose 54,000 employees provide catering and support services to 3850 clients in several sectors, is introducing the eziTracker service, rebranded as Sodexho Staffline. The initial commitment is worth $150,000 a year.
The eziTracker system uses the phone and internet to capture and store data about staff work patterns. For example, a Sodexho cleaner calls an 0800 number when starting work and keys in a PIN number, which automatically logs the starting time.
Workers log out in the same way at the end of the day. Panztel collates this information and stores it on the internet for Sodexho to use.
Euro Car Parks has also signed a deal that will see eziTracker collecting time and attendance information from the 2500 staff who run its carparks in Britain.
In Victoria, Australian Home Care Services has signed a contract with Panztel worth $130,000 in annual revenue.
In New Zealand, United Cleaning Services, which employs over 3500 staff, has awarded a contract to Panztel worth more than $150,000 in the first year.
Total potential annual revenue from such customers will exceed $10 million once the service is introduced throughout their organisations.
