Anne Gibson, the Business Herald's property editor, was yesterday named the Property Institute's journalism award winner for the third time.
The institute - whose members are valuers, quantity surveyors, developers, managers, investors and agents - announced the award at its annual conference in Taupo.
Dixon Opie, the institute's marketing manager, said Gibson won the award for excellence after submitting articles on Queen St's ownership, leaky buildings, real estate reform and the housing sector. She won the institute's inaugural award in 2003 and was also the winner last year.
