Best advice you've had?
One of my earlier bosses said never think that you know everything and always acknowledge that there's going to be someone else who knows more than you. You need to find that person. Don't shut your mind off.

Being CEO of Summerset, and five children: Grant is 23, Jonathan is 18, Matthew is 11, Benjamin is 10 and Laura is 7.
Biggest failure?
I never fail but I left school and I didn't have a clue what I was going to do so I bummed around at university and had a good time.
Most valuable object?
My bach in the Coromandel, at Opito Bay just up from Whitianga.What does 2015 hold for you?Lots of work but it's going to be very exciting and take the business to another level. Summerset will have 20 villages, so we will add one more at Wigram and be building 300 new units.
