WELLINGTON - Telecom chief executive Roderick Deane will teach at Victoria University next year.
Commerce faculty dean Professor Neil Quigley said that Dr Deane, a graduate of the university, would take up a new part-time position as a professor in the graduate school of business and government management.
Dr Deane will step down from the position of Telecom chief executive and become its chairman later this year.
"Dr Deane brings an immense wealth of experience at the most senior levels of government and the private sector to this position," Professor Quigley said.
"Applying his experience and academic qualifications to the graduate programme reflects a leading-edge approach to management education." - NZPA
