Listed Australian software company Technology One is making inroads into the local government and white-collar sectors with its Finance One and Proclaim One systems.
"By the end of this year we will have 26 customers and we are looking to grow by 10 to 12 a year," said New Zealand manager Roger Phare.
In revenue terms that means about $4 million last year. Licence fees for Finance One typically range from $50,000 to $150,000, and Proclaim One will cost $100,000 to $300,000, depending on the number of rateable properties. Implementation by Technology One costs a similar sum.
Phare said Wanganui and Marlborough District Councils had installed Proclaim One.
