Sylvia Park retail leases top $100m

Kiwi Income Property Trust has leased more than $100 million of its new Sylvia Park shopping centre at Mt Wellington.

The listed landlord has rented 3.5ha of its retail centre, which comprises about a third of the $363 million retail project.

Angus McNaughton, chief executive of the trust's manager, said 91 per cent of stage one was leased. The complex was now 58 per cent leased.
