Tenant deals announced last week by developer Kiwi Income Property Trust show that the Sylvia Park retail project is more than half leased.
Kiwi has a team of five headed by Roy Stansfield leasing the project, concentrating on the first and second stages of the retail development on the site.
As well as the retail precinct, a large office project is planned for the site over the longer term, bringing the total project value to about $538 million. Stage one of Sylvia Park's retail complex is a 1.3ha store for The Warehouse, 0.4ha Foodtown supermarket and 50 speciality stores, including a 4000sq m Homestore.
Stage two of the retail precinct will have a fashion focus and include a 550sq m Beauty and Healthcare Pharmacy by Life Pharmacy.
Multiplex Constructions (NZ) is building most of stage one, although Naylor Love is building The Warehouse.
