Wholesale superannuation funds have continued to take a beating in the past three months, according to figures from Mercer.
The average balanced fund was down 2.5 per cent for the September quarter and down 7.7 per cent for the past 12 months.
The best performer for the quarter was ING, down 1 per cent before tax and fees, while the worst performer Arcus Investment Management, was down 5.1 per cent.
Over one year AMP Capital Investors was the best performer, down 6.8 per cent while Arcus remained the worst, down 13.9 per cent.
