KEY POINTS:
South Canterbury Finance is considering making an offer of up to $75 million in secured bonds. Another $25 million worth of bonds would be available for oversubscriptions.
They would be first ranking, three year, fixed rate bonds, underwritten by Forsyth Barr.
In March SCF raised US$100 million ($126 million) in the US traditional private placement market, and may well be looking for attractive opportunities in the shaky finance company sector.
