Budding entrepreneurs or businesses wanting to start a new enterprise can take advantage of a $10,000 opportunity up for grabs to help them forge ahead in the tough market.
Marketing expert Laurel Julinda is today launching an online competition - Biz Break - open to any New Zealander over 18 who has a practical business idea and wants a branding boost.
The winner will get a prize package valued at $10,000 from Julinda Creative, the competition sponsor in association with Frog Recruitment.
The prize package includes a designer CMS website, branding concept, logo, business cards and coaching sessions.
Julinda says the competition is an opportunity for her business to give something away, and for entrants to develop initiatives that will positively impact the local market.
Three finalists will present their business plans and be interviewed by the judging panel - Julinda, Frog Recruitment director Jane Kennelly and Herald on Sunday money editor Andrea Milner.
Entries close on October 30, and details are available at
