A new national magazine to promote and inspire entrepreneurship among New Zealand's burgeoning small to medium-sized enterprises sector has been launched.
Editor Gez Johns said IE Magazine (Inspiring Entrepreneurs) would encourage business people to succeed and excel.
"It will focus on and celebrate the achievements of homegrown businesses," he said. "It will also provide practical guidelines for people who are passionate about what they do and want to do it better."
Regular features will include profiles of local entrepreneurs including the inside track on how they made it - or nearly didn't make it - as well as ideas, insights and tools to innovate and prosper.
Johns said Kiwi business people were the most innovative and exciting risk takers anywhere.
"We want to tap into this pool of ingenuity and extract the best examples for everyone to share."
IE Magazine joins the Momentum Group stable and the publisher's goal is for IE to become the leading monthly business title by the time of its first audit in six months.
