Mr LaRosa said he didn't believe Shooters' background was the cause of its vacancies.
He said Shooters was a destination bar rather than somewhere that people pass by.
"It's very much a party atmosphere. Everything we try and do here is about people having fun.
"I don't want to make top dollar on the drinks, I'm not about charging exuberant prices for food. I want [customers] to come here, have fun and enjoy themselves."
He said he would be happy if he had an extra 50 to 60 people visit each night during the World Cup.
Mr LaRosa had been renovating the outdoor area for the past year to accommodate the extra numbers.
He said a wood-fired pizza oven will be set up selling $10 pizzas throughout the tournament.
Although Mr LaRosa's prices haven't shifted for the cup, a typical price for a three- or four-bedroom home with two bathrooms in central Auckland was $400 or $500 a night.
Luxury Rentals 2011 has about 100 Auckland properties listed for rent during the cup, about a quarter of which were listed in the $2000-plus a night category.
Rental website gorugbyhomes.com told the Herald last month it had reached half a million dollars in reservations. Its marketing director, Mike Gray, said people had been joining the site every day and making bookings.
"Some are up to 30-night bookings. By the time we finish, we will generate between $600,000 and $700,000 for people that have listed."
The website had booked almost 1300 total guest nights at an average of $420 a night, Mr Gray said.
Mr LaRosa said if All Black Cory Jane's wife still needed accommodation, he would welcome her with open arms.
