Competition is hotting up for this year's round of the North Shore business excellence awards.
The judges have said that interest is already strong for the August awards and are encouraging entrants to attend one of two free awards briefings being held from 5pm to 7pm on April 6 and 14 at Sports House, Oteha Valley Rd, Albany.
Judging criteria for the 12 award categories and tips on overall presentation will be discussed. Entries close on June 23.

* Some 500 new businesses are expected to be created in the next decade by a youth business initiative of the Princes Trust New Zealand.
Aspiring entrepreneurs will be supported by a start-up loan and business mentoring from a team of experienced business people.
