The partner of former SkyCity worker Tessa Grant and her mother-in-law have been ordered to provide information to the casino company, which is chasing its former employee in the High Court for more than $1.2 million of allegedly "unexplained transactions".
Grant was with the company's Hamilton casino in a senior management role from 2006 to 2014. Earlier this year the entertainment group launched a lawsuit against her in an attempt to recover more than $1.2 million.
As part of the lawsuit, Grant's assets have been frozen by the High Court. Also on ice is the North Island home where she lives with her partner, Jason Scott.
Scott's mother, Pauline, also lives at the property, which is owned by a company directed by Grant's father.
SkyCity, in the High Court at Auckland this morning, applied for discovery orders against Jason and Pauline Scott.
