Sky TV is conducting customer satisfaction surveys, but won't disclose why.
In an email to customers, the company said it was "on a journey to make Sky better".
"Your answers to these questions are the first steps in understanding how everyone thinks we're going, what we need to do and reminding us that we're all people sharing our lives here in New Zealand," the company said.
A spokesperson for the company said Sky TV conducted surveys and research all the time on many areas of its business, but could not discuss the nature of these.
"Being a public company we don't release any additional information like this, anything of this nature that is released would be either at the Interim or Annual Results," she said.
