Sky Television is expected to sign a deal with News Corp over Tri-Nations and Super 14 rugby coverage soon, analysts believe. A spokesman said the company was "still negotiating".
News Corp signed a US$323 million ($455 million) five-year deal with New Zealand, Australian and South African unions in December, to begin 2006 when the present deal ends.
