Scott sells wine business to managers

Scott technology is selling its Italian wine equipment division in Auckland to senior management.

Scott inherited the $4 million-turnover Italian wine equipment importing business with its purchase of CBS Engineering in early 2002.

Chief executive Kevin Kilpatrick said that under the deal, the new company would market the Italian and Scott's winery equipment.

The new company, Wine and Brewery Systems, would trade as Scott Wine and Beverages.
