Schneider completes PDL takeover

French conglomerate Schneider Electric has paid $10.96 a share for the 8 per cent of PDL held by Gold Peak Industries. The acquisition seals Schneider's takeover of PDL after a deal earlier this week to buy the Stewart family's 60 per cent holding.
