Roscommon Rd Gull station sells petrol for 49c a litre

An Auckland petrol station soon ran out of fuel after selling all petrol for 49 cents a litre last night.

Long queues led to traffic jams around the Gull station on Roscommon Rd, after the cheap fuel offer went viral on social media.

Regular petrol and diesel was selling for a quarter of the usual price.

Gull pricing analyst Rohan Mehta said the price was correct.

He said the station was about to close for four weeks to replace the tanks and it needed to get rid of the fuel.

He said the station ran out of fuel just before 10pm.

The shop would also be closed while the tanks were replaced, he said.

Just been advised all fuel (91/98/Diesel) @ gull roscommon is $0.49/L this is no joke!! The place is apparently packed asf right now so I bid you all good luck. 💯✌
