Fast food operator Restaurant Brands today said its full year sales were up $10.9 million to $315.5 million with all divisions performing solidly.
In the 53 (crct) weeks to February 28, same store sales were flat, rising just 0.5 per cent.
Restaurant Brands operates KFC and Starbucks here, and Pizza Hut in New Zealand and Victoria.
Sales in the 13 week fourth quarter totalled $77.7m, which was up 11.3 per cent on the prior 12 week period.
On a same store basis, the firm's sales grew 1.5 per cent in the 13 weeks to February, from the preceding period.
Total annual sales for KFC were $173.1m, an increase of 1.1 per cent on prior year. Same store sales growth for the year was 0.1 per cent.
Pizza Hut New Zealand operations saw full year sales of $87.6m, up 7.7 per cent on the year before. Same store sales slipped 0.7 per cent.
The Starbucks Coffee brand saw a healthy 7.8 per cent rise in full year sales, reaching a new high of $24.9m, which was up 3.6 per cent on a same store basis.
Restaurant Brands' Australian operation, Pizza Hut Victoria, showed solid sales, which were up 5.6 per cent at A$27.3m ($29.7m). On a same store basis, Pizza Hut Victoria's sales were up 3.8 per cent.
