One of Remuera's most glamorous homes has sold for $14 million - $4 million above its capital value determined just last year.
The 3400m2 mansion was previously owned by multimillionaire beer baron Sir Douglas Myers, before he sold it to businessman Wayne Leach, of Winger Motors, in 2005.
In July last year, the property was given a capital value of $10 million and a land value of $6.8 million.
Real estate agent Graham Wall confirmed that the home - which features a 16m heated indoor swimming pool and floor-lit tennis court - sold for $14 million earlier this year.
The property, on 220 Victoria Avenue, also has a separate staff residence.
