KEY POINTS:
The New Zealand Wine Company Ltd said it has completed a record 2007 grape crush.
The crush of 3647 tonnes included 2251 tonnes of the company's own grapes and exceeded the previous record crush last year by more than 640 tonnes.
"Despite the generally lower yields in Marlborough the company was able to secure sufficient grapes to take advantage of the growing demand," said chief executive Rob White.
"Quality has been generally good, particularly with the sauvignon blanc," said chief winemaker Dave Pearce.
