KEY POINTS:
Receivers Grant Thornton have reached an agreement with their appointer, Equitable Property Holdings Ltd, for them to cease acting as receivers of income of two properties owned by Dave Henderson.
This decision was made following good progress in resolving the issues which led to their appointment, which ceased yesterday.
Tim Downes of Grant Thornton said the receivers' appointment by Equitable was as receivers of income only, for two properties associated with Henderson, one in Invercargill and another in Dunedin.
Downes said the companies themselves had never been placed in receivership or under his control and at no stage had the lodgings and accommodation businesses operated from these properties been in receivership.
