Australia's Rebel Sport said yesterday its sales revenue for the group for 2002/03 was up 13.6 per cent from the previous year to A$276.9 million ($312 million).
The core Rebel Sport superstores total sales for the 12 months to June 28 lifted by 14.4 per cent with sales up 7.2 per cent on a same-store basis.
Rebel opened six new stores in Cairns, Surfers Paradise, Townsville, Tuggerah, Melville and Pagewood.
Rebel Sport is majority owned by Harvey Norman. New Zealand's Rebel Sport is owned by Briscoe.
