Queen's Birthday Honours: Bridget Liddell

Bridget Liddell.

Professional director and businesswoman Bridget Liddell has been on the board of many New Zealand and international organisations since the early 1990s.

She is managing partner of 212 Equity New Zealand, chief executive of White Cloud Dairy Innovation and a Reserve Bank director.

She is also chairwoman of NZ investment group ArcAngels which backs women entrepreneurs.

Liddell is also a member of the University of Auckland Business School advisory board and she has been on the boards of the NZ Superannuation Fund, SkyCity, Fisher & Paykel Appliances Holdings, BioVittoria and KEA New Zealand.

She was an inaugural director of Global Women New Zealand and has held governance roles with Industry New Zealand, Competitive Auckland, and Auckland Uniservices.

She was the inaugural chairwoman of the Icehouse business incubator from 2001 to 2003, chairwoman of the New Zealand/United States Beachhead Programme and has been a member of the US/NZ Council in Washington DC.

She was one of the leaders of the Knowledge Wave Trust in 2001 and is a director of BRAC USA, an organisation focused on reducing poverty.
