United States President Bill Clinton will give a keynote address to Apec political and business leaders at Auck-land's Viaduct Harbour on Sunday, 12 September.
The address will be a highlight of the Apec CEO Summit - "Globalisation in the 21st Century" - which will be attended by 250 senior business leaders from around the Asia Pacific region.
President Clinton's address will be the first to a mixed gathering of political and business leaders in Apec's history.
Participants will also be briefed on the forthcoming America's Cup regatta and tour the America's Cup yachts.
Business leaders giving keynote addresses include: John Smith, chairman and chief executive of General Motors; Cargill chairman Ernest Micek; and Bank of China chairman Xuebing Wang.
