KEY POINTS:
Sales for clothing retailer Postie Plus picked up in the second quarter, but at reduced margins.
Group sales for the three months ended January 31 increased by 3.96 per cent to $38.6 million, compared with $37.1 million in the corresponding period last year.
It follows a poor first quarter when sales revenue fell by 2.79 per cent to $27.2 million.
On the whole, first-half sales revenue was up 1.06 per cent to $65.8 million. Difficult trading conditions were likely to continue, said chairman Peter van Rij.
Postie Plus shares closed unchanged at 63c yesterday.
