Pod profit slides

Textile and apparel company Pod has posted an 8 per cent fall in its June year profit to $3.42 million.


Brokers say it was a good result given that a major part of its production was affected by a fire at its Logan Textiles factory in Brisbane in October last year.


Pod's trading revenue rose 12 per cent to $80.3 million.
