The company which brought us such culinary innovations as the hot dog stuffed crust and the quesidalla pizza has taken fusion cuisine to an all new level, stuffing eight miniature pies into the crust of a pizza.
Interpreting the term "pizza pie" perhaps a little too literally, Pizza Hut in Australia has teamed with Australian pie maker Four'N Twenty to create what what the two companies have dubbed "Australia's favourite lovechild".

"Aussies love pizza and we love pies, so in a world first we've brought these two legendary foods together in the crust, the perfect combination for the heart of the footy season," Pizza Hut Australia spokeswoman Fatima Syed said in a statement.
It follows Pizza Hut's "Crown Crust" pizza, which was offered in the Middle East with cheeseburger and chicken fillet crust options, another Australian-targeted "Doritos Crunchy Crust Pizza" and the "Chee-Zee Marmite Stuffed Crust Pizza" released here for a limited time last year.
