The real estate agent selling nine upmarket Herne Bay houses is fielding a stream of inquiries about the properties.
Graeme Wall of Coles Real Estate in Parnell said many people already living in the area were asking to see the properties.
Most of the houses formerly owned by the Sultan of Brunei are up for grabs, just a few weeks after being sold privately for around $35 million.
Houses for sale now:
* $10 million for 8 Wairangi St, the colonial villa with return verandas.
* $3 million for 5 Stack St, a do-up two-level villa from the late 1800s.
* $2.8 million for 7 Stack St, a stucco-clad 1920s home in the arts and craft style.
* $2 million for 9 Stack St, a modest two-level bungalow on a stunning site.
During the summer, the businessman will sell five townhouses at 34 Argyle St for $1 million to $2 million each, which will leave the owner with:
* Waimanu, 9 Argyle St, built in 1987 by developer Graeme Soljan and sold to the Sultan in 1995 for $6.8 million.
* 11 Stack St, the newest house in the group, two levels, built 15 years ago in the American style.
In a separate deal, Wall is also selling his own apartment, seeking $1.6 million for his 220sq m Ponsonby Rd penthouse.
