KEY POINTS:
The 2008 Budget included a $10.6 billion package over three years, putting between $12 and $28 a week back into worker's pockets.
The first tax cut came exactly a week ago giving the average worker $16.54 back. By April 2011 the average worker will get $32.12, a range of between $22 and $55.
The tax thresholds have also changed to include:
A new low tax rate of 12.5 per cent
* Lifting the 21 per cent threshold by $10,500 to $20,000
* Lifting the 33 per cent threshold by $4,500 to $42,500
* Lifting the 39 per cent threshold by $20,000 to $80,000
