Real estate agents are screening out the gawkers as the country's most expensive apartment hits the market again, three years after first being listed.
David Henderson's quarter-acre $10 million pad above the Hilton Hotel is being marketed by Bayley's Duncan and Andrea Ritchie.
"Viewing by appointment only," advertising says of visits to the 880sq m waterfront penthouse which spans an entire floor above the Hilton.
A 2000-bottle temperate-controlled wine cellar, walk-in fridge, four gas fireplaces, access via two lifts and heated infinity swimming pool are some of the features of Apartment 1 in Princes Wharf's Shed 21.
In January, 2007, Fiona Mackenzie of Kellands said the apartment was the country's largest, anticipating it could sell for more than $10 million.
Henderson has been struggling financially, with Inland Revenue opposing his creditor scheme. He wants to avoid bankruptcy. The Bank of Western Australia, Downer Group and IRD have opposed the application that would allow him to drip-feed unsecured creditors $1.5 million over three years.
No price is put on the Bayley's marketing. Tenders close on November 24.
