The woman fronting a controversial bid to buy more than a dozen North Island dairy farms, has had her court case delayed for another week while her defence team considers further evidence lodged by the liquidator.
Wang has pleaded not guilty to Companies Act charges brought by the Ministry of Economic Development of failing to keep proper books and records, failing to provide information to the liquidator and leaving New Zealand without advising the liquidator.
The charges relate to Wang's property development company the Dynasty Group, which went into liquidation in 2008.
Wang's defence team has sought an adjournment to December 8, when a date will be set for a defended hearing, possibly in February or March next year, the Ministry of Economic Development said.
Wang is also fighting Inland Revenue's attempt to bankrupt her over a $1.3 million debt it is owed following the collapse of Dynasty.
Hannah Sargisson reserved her decision in the Auckland High Court earlier this month.
