A liquidation application against troubled Auckland property developer Andrew Krukziener's company has been adjourned to give him time to repay his creditor.
Telecommunications company CallPlus filed a liquidation application against Krukziener Properties at the High Court in Auckland.
But today his lawyer Lawrence Herzog sought an adjournment so his client could put together a repayment plan, which the court heard was likely to be accepted by the plaintiff.
The payment would be made as a lump sum, then in monthly installments, but required time to implement, Herzog said.
Herzog said the debt was minor and amounted to a "few thousand".
The case will be heard again on December 3.
Separately Inland Revenue has applied to bankrupt Kurkziener over a $600,000 debt and the Taxation Review Authority won its case against him in November for alleged tax avoidance.
Krukziener is appealing the decision in the High Court.
