Two inner-city Auckland apartments sold for under $300,000 at City Sales' auction yesterday.
A two-bedroom unit in the block 96 on Symonds went for $240,000 while a studio unit in Oakwood at 81 Wakefield St near AUT went for $275,000.
Neither of the units had valuable car parks with them.
The Symonds St apartment is about 41sq m, has a deck and was unit 406, City Sales said.
The Oakwood unit is compact at only 29sq m but it also has a deck and was unit 6b.
A two-bedroom two-bathroom 65sq m apartment in the block One On Ophir at 1 Ophir St went for $600,000. That unit has one carpark, the agents said.
Three other units were passed in. They were:
• C6/19-35 Fleet Street, Eden Terrace, Fleetwood
two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 Carpark, deck 17sqm, 86sq m approximately.
• 65/Shed23/145 Quay Street, Princes Wharf
two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, long term car park license, 108sq m approximately.
• 708/96 Symonds Street, 96 On Symonds
two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 carpark, deck, 45sq m approximately.
