Two leading companies are going to the market with bond offers.
The BNZ has launched a retail bond issue of at least $50 million, the bank said today.
The offer, which closes on Friday, will be government-guaranteed.
The coupon on the five-year notes is expected to be the higher of 6.15 per cent or 175 basis points over swap.
And electricity and gas distributor Vector is considering making a public offer of up to $150 million of five year senior bonds.
