Blue Chip court action challenged

Three directors of Northern Crest, formerly Blue Chip, challenged court action in Sydney taken by New Zealand liquidators on Friday.

Dan Hughes, the Kensington Swan partner acting for Northern Crest liquidators PKF Corporate, said Marc Wilson, Northern Crest chairman, Laurie Eakin, executive director, and David Sekel, non-executive director, had taken issue with PKF's appointment in the Federal Court of Australia.

Hughes is confident PKF's status will be confirmed.
